Dead Ben Rises

A little over three years ago I began working on a project for Dead Presidents Design, aka Monster Kolor, to design and sculpt a new figure that would be a sort of mascot based on their Ben Franklin logo image.

Here is the epic backstory my design is based on:

Plaseebo and Dead Presidents Design, aka Monster Kolor, are pleased to announce the debut of the DEAD BEN hand cast resin figure on April 12th opening of the MONSTER BRAWL show at the Monster Kolor Gallery in Middleboro Ma. The show will feature custom versions of the Dead Ben figure by Miscreation, Jay222 and Plaseebo.

Here are some photos of the making of Dead Ben. I began by reworking one of Dead Presidents resin figure release of the Ben Franklin bust.
